Meet The Coaches

Head Coach
Chris Culpepper
After retiring from teaching and coaching for 31 years, I decided I wanted to start a running club for families in the Fort Worth area. The emphasis would focus on distance running. I am an active runner that still loves to compete, but ultimately I find joy in running. I enjoy training and pushing myself. I have a heart for kids and keeping kids active, the combination of these brought the Cadence program together. I want to develop and grow a youth distance club that has something to offer for kids of all levels.

Assistant Coach
Avery Del Rosso
Avery fell in love with running in middle school. The dedication and love continued to grow which led her to compete at the University of Tulsa on the NCAA Division I Cross Country and Track & Field team. Since college, Avery works as a nurse at a local hospital and continues to run for fun, occasionally competing in races. Running has provided Avery with lifelong friends and continues to be a way to connect with new people. Avery loves helping runners develop and find confidence in their abilities. Avery believes in the importance of working hard and having fun. She probably learned that from her dad (Coach Culpepper).
